The Summer Concert Series at HPR’s Atherton Performing Arts Studio continues with The Elevations on Saturday, July 27.

The Elevations are an 8-piece vintage soul band, playing a late 50s/early 60s style of soul and funk that precedes what’s commonly known as the Motown sound. The group brings a fresh energy, with a sound and style found nowhere else in Hawai‘i. The group is fronted by three women, evoking legendary acts like the Shirelles and the Ronettes. This will be the Elevations’ debut performance at the Atherton.
